In the grocery store we can find things like "pick of the chick" and many packages that have
chicken pieces.  In this section we will have recipes that use pieces of chicken to make many
varied dishes for family or friends.

Buttermilk Pecan Chicken  A type of baked chicken with a Southern flair.  Ground pecans
make the coating on this chicken irresistible.

Captain Crunch Chicken  I think my kids would eat Captain Crunch for all three meals.  This is
very simple and very crispy.  Good for a children's party.

Chicken Anita  I am not sure where this name came from, I don't know who Anita is, but this old
recipe is a big favorite at our home and it is very simple.  Served on top of hot rice, it makes a
great main course. This has sherry in it, but all alcohol is cooked out.  You could use non-
alcoholic wine as a substitute.

Chicken and Onion Bake  This is an old recipe that was a staple in our neighborhood as children.
I make it from time to time for the new generation and to bring back nice memories.

Chicken Via Veneto  This is an old Campbell soup recipe circa 1968. I know it has an Italian
sounding name, but the recipe is not an Italian one.  My family loves this recipe and we
serve it over rice.

Chicken with Garlic Sauce  This one is a bit tricky and there are quite a few steps, but it is
worth it.  Make this for company or for a special occasion at home.  It can't miss. It is OK to
use already peeled garlic cloves that come in a jar instead of fresh, I do it all the time.

Frosted Flake Chicken  The adults were a little skeptical about this one, but big and
little folks liked this equally.

Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs  This recipe is an easy weeknight recipe that is also a little sweet with
the addition of molasses.

Lime Chicken  This is for chicken thighs that are cooked on a grill, but they could  easily
be broiled or pan fried.  This sweet and tangy recipe could be easily served at a
dinner party.

Russian Chicken  Just a few ingredients that are easy to keep on hand make a nice
baked recipe that is a bit different.
