PRESTO PESTO BROCCOLI & ORZO
7 ounces (1 cup) uncooked orzo or rice-shaped pasta
2 cups fresh broccoli florets cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup purchased pesto
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup shredded or shaved parmesan cheese
In large saucepan, cook orzo as directed on package, adding broccoli
during last 10 minutes of cooking time. Cook until pasta and broccoli
are tender. Drain. Add pesto, salt and pepper; toss to coat.
Place in serving dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve hot.
Serves 4 to 6.
