ABC Slaw
(Almond, Broccoli, Currant)

1 pound broccoli florets, blanched, drained
2 cups shredded red cabbage
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup snipped mint leaves
1 green onion, sliced
1 Tbsp dried currants
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp currant jelly
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper and salt

Place the ingredients for the salad in a mixing bowl. In a small
saucepan place the ingredients for the dressing. Heat till hot and the
jelly is melted. Gently toss the warm dressing with the slaw. Serves 4
