WHITE BEAN DELIGHT RECIPE
1 pkg. of white NORTHERN beans (16oz.)
1 pkg. of Onion Soup Mix
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/3 cup of Honey
1 bail- Green Peppers
1 large Red Tomato
Wash beans thoroughly. Place into an electrical crock pot, 2/3 full
of water; (setting on Med. Cook); add a pinch of salt, a 1.25 oz .
package of Onion Soup Mix.. When beans come to a steady boil, add
finely diced green pepper, and chopped tomato . Stir, and leave the
rest to the crockpot. Ready in approximately three hours. Check
periodically for water level. Stir while checking. When beans
are done, turn crockpot off, and serve hot with a good
home-made cornbread recipe.
