DELICIOUS POTATO-EGG NESTS
1 1/2 cups creamy mashed potatoes
8-oz. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Liberally butter 6 custard cups. Line with mashed potatoes. Break an
egg into each cup. Place in broiler 6 inches from heat. Cook for 5 to
7 minutes until eggs are set. In a saucepan blend cheese and milk;
until heated. Add
Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour mixture evenly
over each cup. Place in broiler and cook until cheese is lightly
browned. Serves six.
These are a delicious, different breakfast treat and very satisfying!
