Orange Pineapple Cream
(Don't tell the kids this creamy and sweet dessert actually has good food in
16 oz. carton cottage cheese
1 4-serving size orange Jell-o gelatin mix
1 11or 15 oz. can Mandarin oranges, drained
1 8-oz can crushed pineapple, drained
1 8-oz carton frozen dessert topping (Cool Whip) thawed
In blender, mix cottage cheese with dry Jell-o until smooth. Pour into mixing
bowl and add oranges and pineapple. Blend together. Fold in dessert topping.
Spoon into individual dessert dishes or stemmed glasses and refrigerate until
ready to serve.
Note: For a low fat and low calorie version, use low fat cottage cheese and
fat whipped topping. Use sugar free Jell-o
