Best Ever Franks and Beans:

1/2 onion
2 tsp. butter or margarine
1 can kidney beans (drained)
1 can brown beans
1 package wieners, chopped (veggie wieners work too)
1/4 cup corn syrup (warmed)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Cut onion into small pieces and sauté with the butter until cooked and
translucent. Put the onions in the crock pot and add the corn syrup and
brown sugar. Stir until coated. Add mustard, ginger, both cans of
beans, and
the wieners. Heat on low for 2-3 hours or high for 45 minutes. Serve.
