Very Garlicky Chicken and Pasta in Cream Sauce

1 1/2 cups boneless, skinless chicken, sliced into thin strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 cup fresh broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup cauliflower florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup cream
4 cups cooked angel hair pasta (keep hot)

Place the olive oil in a pan and heat it over a medium flame.
Add the chicken , and sauté it until it is almost cooked through,
about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic cloves, diced
broccoli, carrots and cauliflower to the pan and cook until the
garlic is just lightly browned and
the vegetables are hot but not mushy. Season to taste with salt and
pepper. Sprinkle the grated cheese over all of this, then stir in the cream.
Remove from the heat.
Spoon the mixture onto a plate of angle hair pasta, and serve.

Makes about 4 servings.

MOM!MOM! notes:  We found it helped things go a little quicker if we
microwaved the vegetables a little before sautéing.
