1 pkg. (3 oz) orange sugar-free gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups walnuts halves
1/2 tbsp. grated orange peel
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
Pinch of grated nutmeg
In a heavy skillet combine the gelatin and boiling water. Add the remaining
ingredients and return to a boil. Stir until most of the liquid is
evaporated. Drain on a paper towel. Spread on a baking sheet to cool.
******This is technically not
vegetarian since there is gelatin, so don't serve this to
strict vegetarians. For the site's purposes, it means there is no actual
meat in the recipe.
