Macaroni with Ham and Cheese Deluxe
Butter or Margarine
1 Onion - chopped
1 Green Bell Pepper - chopped
1 teaspoon Garlic (from jar)
16 ounces Elbow Macaroni - cooked
4 Cups Ham - cooked and cubed - (leftovers are good)
4 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese
4 ounces Hot Peppery Cheese
8 ounces Sharp White Cheddar Cheese
4 large Plum Tomatoes - cut in wedges
Preheat Oven to 325*F
In Dutch Oven, with a few tablespoons of butter, sauté onions, green peppers
and garlic until tender.
Add cooked macaroni and ham. Toss.
Add cheeses (shred or slice thinly) -- reserve approximately 6 ounces of
Add milk and additional butter for creaminess. Mix gently.
Add tomatoes and toss gently a bit more.
Add reserved cheese to top of ingredients and heat in oven 20 minutes.
