Spicy Oven Fried Chicken There is quite a bit of hot stuff in the marinade for this recipe, don't let it scare you, while it is spicy, it is not overwhelming. "Frying" in the oven saves a lot of calories and is not quite so messy as regular fried chicken. We absolutely love this recipe. I start the day before and marinate the chicken overnight. We usually skin the chicken, but that is optional.
