This recipe I created is always enjoyed at parties, potluck and teen
get- togethers!

1 lb. bacon
2 lbs. ground round
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic finely minced
1 large green bell pepper, diced
1 lb. mushrooms sliced
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon salt
2 cans 16-ox diced tomato
2 jars .prepared 1 quart bottled pasta sauce
1/4 lb. grated Parmesan cheese
2 lbs. spaghetti, cooked
1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

Cut up bacon and fry until crisp in a large skillet. Remove bacon with
slotted spoon and set aside. Pour off half of bacon fat. Add meat to
skillet and fry until lightly browned; add onion, garlic, green pepper
and mushrooms continue cooking for another few minutes. Add oregano,
basil, salt and diced tomatoes. In a large container, spoon in
pasta sauce, Parmesan cheese, bacon and cooked spaghetti; mix
thoroughly. Spoon into two 13x9x2-inch baking dishes and sprinkle top
with grated cheddar cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for
30-40 minutes. Serves 12-14.

Serve with a crisp green salad and hot crusty French bread.
