This recipe was given to me by
Bob, the world's nicest beer driver. He brings these and gives them
to the bartenders and other workers on his route.
Cowboy Cookies
3/4 cup butter flavored Crisco
4 tsp. water
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Mix together the above ingredients in a large bowl
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Mix together in a separate bowl and add to the Crisco mixture.
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups flour
Mix together in a separate bowl and add to Crisco mixture.
Add 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
to Crisco mixture
Add the following ingredients to
the Crisco mixture and mix well:
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup sweetened flake coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Heat oven to 350.
Bake 13-14 minutes.
