Cherry Tomato Appetizer

1 Basket Red Cherry Tomatoes
1 Basket Yellow Cherry Tomatoes
1/2 cup Absolut Citron
1/2 cup Absolut Peppar
1 cup kosher salt (coarse)
Coarsely ground pepper to taste.

Set a large bowl of ice water to the side.   Bring a large pot of water to a boil.  Drop 1/4 of the tomatoes
in the boiling water for about 60 seconds and then plunge into ice water.  Repeat until all of the
tomatoes have been boiled and put in the ice water. 

Peel all of the tomatoes, it should be easy, but if skin is still sticking, put the tomatoes back into
the boiling water briefly.  When all of the tomatoes are peeled, soak the yellow ones in Citron
Vodka, and the red ones in Peppar Vodka.

Soak for about 20 minutes in the refrigerator.  Remove tomatoes from vodka and either discard
the vodka or use it for bloody marys.  Sprinkle the tomatoes with ground pepper and put on a
serving plate covered with rock salt.  Put a toothpick in each tomato.
