Cheeseburger Soup

1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
3/4 cup onion
3/4 cup shredded carrots
4 cups diced potatoes
3 cups chicken broth (two cans)
4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup sour cream
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese shredded

Combine browned ground beef, onion, carrots, potatoes and chicken
broth. Cook until potatoes are soft. Combine butter, flour, milk, salt,
pepper, sour cream and cheese in saucepan. Heat until smooth. Add to the beef
mixture and heat until hot.
