Applesauce Beef Meatloaf

1 cup soft breadcrumbs
1/2 cup applesauce
2 tbsp.  finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. finely chopped celery
1 tsp.  Dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg slightly beaten
1 lb.  ground beef

1/2 cup applesauce
1 tbsp.  brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. Dijon mustard

Combine breadcrumbs and 1/2 cup applesauce.  add onion, celery, 1 tsp. mustard, salt, pepper, egg and ground beef.  Blend well and shape into a loaf.  Put in a meatloaf pan.  With a spoon make a depression in the top of the meat.  Combine the rest of the ingredients.  Pour the sauce into the
depression on top of the meat.  Bake for 1 hour at 350.
