This is our third place winner and it is
absolutely delicious. You must try this one.
Sausage and Potato Casserole
1 pkg. smoked sausage or polish kielbasa
1 32oz pkg. frozen hash browns
2c. sour cream
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c green onions
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Slice sausage into 1/4" pieces. Mix soup, sour cream, onions, milk and spices.
Place in greased 9X13 pan 1/2 pkg. hash browns. Place sausage on top of hash
browns and pour half of soup mixture over sausage. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
Top with rest
of potatoes, remaining soup mixture and top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for
45 minutes. Cover with foil for the first 30 minutes then

MOM!MOM! Notes: Any kind of precooked
sausage would be good, we tried 2 kinds.
Also you could probably substitute the cream of celery soup for whatever you have
handy. Piping hot out of the oven this has such a great texture.

frozen potatoes are now available so you won't have trans fats in the potatoes.
