Potato Flake Cookies

1-1/2 c. instant potato flakes
1-1/3 c. Bisquick
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. melted shortening

Mix all ingredients. Roll into small balls. Flatten with fork.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
