Pork Chop and Rice Casserole
(This recipe can be served as is or "doctored up" with anything
you like.)
1 T cooking oil
4-1/2-3/4" thick pork chops
3/4 cup long grain white rice
1 1/2 cup water
1 can or jar beef gravy
Heat oven to 350. In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil.
Remove pork chops and set aside. Add rice to skillet and and
mix with drippings. In a medium greased casserole, add rice,
water, and gravy. Set pork chops on top of rice. Back for 1
hour.
